<h1>Government Allocates Rs. 50,548 Crore for SC Welfare and Rs. 32,387 Crore for Tribal Welfare with New Initiatives.</h1> The Central Government has committed significant funds for the welfare of Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs), with Rs. 50,548 crore allocated for the SC Plan and Rs. 32,387 crore for the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP). A credit enhancement scheme of Rs. 200 crore for SC entrepreneurs will be implemented through IFCI. The Van Bandhu Kalyan Yojana for tribal welfare receives an initial Rs. 100 crore. The modernization of Madarsas is supported with Rs. 100 crore. The Varishtha Pension Bima Yojana will be revived for senior citizens, and a committee will examine the use of unclaimed savings for their benefit. The government ensures social security with a minimum pension of Rs. 1,000 per month for EP Scheme subscribers and increased the wage ceiling for EPS contributions. The EPFO will introduce a Uniform Account Number for portability of Provident Fund accounts. Additionally, national institutes for disability support and sports will be established.
