The DGFT exercised powers under the Foreign Trade Policy-2023 to notify three new Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) for specified chemical export products under the Chemical and Allied Product category. The new SIONs-A-3687, A-3688, and A-3689-fix the allowable import quantities corresponding to set export quantities for Azithromycin Dihydrate, Aldehyde C10, and Ceftazidime Powder respectively. This regulatory amendment legally standardizes the input-output ratios for these products, facilitating compliance and monitoring of export-import activities under the Foreign Trade Policy. The notification is final and binding as issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
