Deduction us.37(1) on account of “Escrow Disbursement Provision” ('EDP’) - Prior period expenditure - To put it simply, the AO will bifurcate total Escrow Disbursement payment of ₹ 20,76,35,244/- made during the year into the amount of Escrow Incentive in respect of packages sold during the year itself and incentive for the packages sold in earlier years.
