OM PRAKASH

my client is running a restaurant. Now he started a Bear Bar. Selling Liquors, Taken Excise Reg. Number = Now which Return has to file monthly or quarterly, and how the excise liability will be calculted.

Excise return frequency: SSI exemption allows quarterly filing, otherwise monthly filing for excisable goods turnover. Filing frequency and excise liability depend on the turnover of excisable goods and entitlement to the SSI exemption. Registered dealers who avail the SSI exemption file quarterly returns; those who do not file monthly returns, and excise is calculated with reference to the turnover of excisable goods. (AI Summary)
