EOU compliance requires prescribed records, statutory returns and procedures, plus cenvat invoicing and audit readiness.
An Export Oriented Unit must maintain prescribed records and submit applicable ER returns, remain subject to periodical departmental audits, raise cenvat invoices and follow the ARE-1 export procedure; operators should consult EOU procedural manuals and public notices from the central excise and customs commissionerate for compliance guidance. (AI Summary)

what compliance to be made by manufacturing company which is engaged in export in customs /foregin trade policy, it is EOU

1.

Good evening mam,

1.  An EOU is required to maintain prescribed records, submit returns such as ER -2, ER -7ER -4, ER-5, ER-6, as the case may be, subject itself for periodical audits by the department

2.  That apart, it is required to raise cenvat invoice, follow ARE-1 procedure

3.     You may look at any published manual  such as RK Jain's  EOU manual by S K Bhatnagar or Nabhi's or by Veera Reddy.

4.   Also look for  public notices issued by  your central excise and customs commissionerate.

Thanks and regards,

Rangaswamy
