As state earlier, you would have to keep your records updated as and when you receive the material in your factory premises but you may avail the CENVAT credit after receiving the whole quantity of the material.
Further, RG23A Part I is no more statutory record, therefore, even in the updation in your computer system i.e. Tally, ERP or SAP would be sufficient to prove that you had received material on such particulars days and date.
RG23A Part I is no longer required to be maintained, and the receipts would have to be entered based on the date on which the goods come to your factory.
