negotiation/discount

Dear all,

We have export business in CIS, Asia Oceania, Eastern Europe etc.

We are doing export business in LC. Kindly let us know the banks name and contact details which will be deal and discount the documents with these countries.

regards,

Sonu Parsad

Negotiation and discount of export letters of credit: banks typically use correspondent banks, so approach major nationalised banks. Exporter requests banks that will negotiate or discount letters of credit and shipping documents for exports to CIS, Asia Oceania and Eastern Europe. The practical response is that domestic banks generally process such transactions through correspondent banking relationships abroad; exporters should therefore approach major nationalised banks that maintain correspondent networks to arrange negotiation or discounting of documentary credits. Most of the banks deal with other countries through correspondent banks in those countries. You can approach any premier nationalised bank as most of them would have correspondent banks in most of these countries
