Central Excise transactions

Shiva S
Dear Experts,

We have excise registration for 2 mfg and 1 warehousing of our unit at 3 different place within same range...we produce at both the places...we buy under 1 registration and invoice in the same registration. we receive our RM at our warehouse and from there we transfer the RM to our Mfg units...right now, as the places are nearby we dont make any documents for transferring the RM or FG from one place to another...

can anyone tell the best possible wayof doing the transaction without having the excise complication  availing cenvat credit and service tax on Rent of all the places

Thanks in advance...
Company Seeks Advice on Transferring Goods Between Units; Experts Suggest Excise Invoices and Rule 4(1A) Declaration A company with excise registration for two manufacturing units and one warehouse seeks advice on transferring raw materials (RM) and finished goods (FG) without documentation between nearby locations. An expert suggests using Central Excise Invoices for transfers between units with separate registrations. Another expert advises declaring the units under Rule 4(1A) of the Central Excise Rule, 2002, and obtaining permission from the Assistant Commissioner to facilitate transactions and claim CENVAT credit. The initial query remains partially unresolved, focusing on minimizing excise complications while availing CENVAT credit and service tax benefits. (AI Summary)
