Capital gain query - Mistmatch amount error in capital gain and BFLA section?

Hemant K

I have capital gain of 710067. after expenditure it comes 707994.

Before 23rd July 2024 having 707994 and after 23rd July 2024 capital gain 4305.

In capital Gain Section F udpated as follows

1 . STCG 15% -  upto 15/6(i) - 0, 16/6 to 15/9(ii) - 707994

2. STCG 20% -   upto 15/6(i) - 0, 16/6 to 15/9(ii) - 0,16/9 to 15/12 (iii) - 4305,16/12 to 15/3 (iv)-0,16/3 to 31/3 (v) - 0.

In BFLA 5 of Schedule CYLA VIA(STCG 15%) - 707994 and VIB(STCG 20%) - 4305.

But after completion getting error -

Field Name Short-term Capital gain taxable at rate 15% - In Schedule CG, Table F Sl No 1 the breakup of all the quarters is not equal to the value from the item 5via of schedule BFLA.

Can you someone assist me here?

Capital gain reporting mismatch can occur from unreconciled quarterly breakups; declare net gain after set-offs to resolve the error. Capital gain reporting mismatch occurred because the quarterly breakup of short-term capital gains in Schedule CG, Table F did not reconcile with the aggregate figure reported in Schedule BFLA. The operative remedy is to declare the net capital gain after applying current-year set-offs and brought-forward losses so that the Table F quarterly totals equal the Schedule BFLA aggregate, resolving the validation error.
