Exporting the goods for Job Working

EDF waiver for re-imported exports allows banks to permit exports for job work subject to proof and post reimport compliance.
Export for job working with planned re import qualifies for an EDF/GR waiver; AD Category I banks may grant EDF approval for exports for re import after repairs, maintenance, testing, calibration or similar job work provided the exporter produces the relative Bill of Entry within one month of re import. If the bank requires support, exporters may submit an Export Promotion Council or CA certificate along with invoices, packing list and job work details to obtain the waiver. The GR waiver reference must appear on the shipping bill and, on re import, customs duty on job work charges must be paid and supporting documents submitted to the AD to close the transaction and associated EDPMS/IDPMS entries. (AI Summary)

Hi,

I want to export the goods for Job Working to USA without any remittance. The same goods will be reimported after the job working to India. I wanted to take GR Waiver from bank, but bank is saying that they can't issue GR waiver because there is no guideline for Job Working other than re-import after repairs / maintenance / testing / calibration, etc.

Could you please help me by sharing the guideline under which I can get an GR Waiver?
