Improper GST Notice Served to Wrong Person Sparks Debate on Legal Remedies and Natural Justice Violations A discussion forum addressed a situation where a show cause notice was improperly served to an unauthorized individual, not the proprietor, regarding a GST issue. The notice was neither uploaded online nor sent to the authorized email. Participants debated the best course of action, suggesting options like challenging the proceedings in the High Court for violating natural justice or filing an appeal. They discussed the implications of pre-deposits and the potential benefits and drawbacks of each legal route. The conversation highlighted the importance of proper notification and adherence to legal procedures in tax matters. (AI Summary)
