Commission on non GST goods is not a taxable supply, and therefore not taxable under GST.
The query raised whether dealer profit from petrol sales is subject to VAT and whether supplier commission is taxable; the response states that commission on non GST goods is not a taxable supply and thus is not taxable under GST, while no view on VAT treatment of the dealer's profit is recorded. (AI Summary)
