GST on Commission Earned

Guest

Hello Sir,

I want to know about the GST applicable on Commission earned by an Independent Representative of a Direct selling co., as and when the sale happen at one point the above all the people get commision for that one sale only. So what is the criteria of GST on that sale for each level. That means from where and how much will be deducted as GST.

Secondly from where i will get the information on rules of GST applicability on Commission.

Independent Representatives Must Register for GST with No Threshold Exemption, per Section 24 of GST Act An individual inquired about the Goods and Services Tax (GST) applicable to commissions earned by an independent representative in a direct selling company. They sought clarity on the GST criteria for each level of commission distribution and where to find relevant rules. The response indicated that registration under the GST Act is mandatory, with no threshold exemption, for individuals making taxable supplies on behalf of others, as per Section 24 of the GST Act.
