Switchover of GST registration from Compositon to regular

rohit khan

If a business is Registered under Composition Scheme of GST and crosses Limit of 1.5 crores within the financial year, Business registration has to change to Regular. and the business has to submit GSTR-4 for the current quarter and GSTR-1 also from the month in which he crossed the limit. But if the user wants to do some amendment in GSTR-4 after registration change how he is going to do that?

Businesses Exceeding Rs. 1.5 Crore Under GST Composition Must Switch to Regular Registration and File GSTR-4 and GSTR-1. A business registered under the GST Composition Scheme must switch to a regular registration if its turnover exceeds 1.5 crores within a financial year. The business must then file GSTR-4 for the current quarter and GSTR-1 from the month the limit is crossed. A query was raised about making amendments to GSTR-4 after this registration change. One response suggested consulting the jurisdictional Range Officer for guidance on handling amendments through the Common Portal. (AI Summary)
