Input of GST for services

Guest

Sir,

We are a Ecommerce seller. Ecommerce marketplaces are currently receiving Commission, shipping charges and other fees from us for selling our goods on their platform. They are alo receiving GST on services from us mentioned above. Please let us know if we can utilise this on our output tax against supply of goods to consumers.

Input Tax Credit available for registered suppliers to offset GST paid on marketplace fees against output tax. The operative rule states that Input Tax Credit is available to all registered persons who have paid tax on taxable goods or services and who supply taxable goods or services; GST charged by an e commerce marketplace on commission, shipping or similar service fees can be claimed as ITC and used to offset the seller's output tax liability, subject to general conditions for claiming input tax credit.
