Sir,

1. I have booked a item of raw material on 28 june and it will received on 3 july,i have to pay service tax on GTA on reverse charge so either i ahve to pay on old law or in new law.

2. If i book payment and pay in existing law there is any problem.

Service Tax vs. GST: Key Dates for GTA Services Under Sections 174(1) and 142(3) of CGST Act 2017 A participant inquired about the applicability of service tax on Goods Transport Agency (GTA) services for a transaction involving raw material booked on June 28, 2017, and received on July 3, 2017, amidst the transition to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime. An expert advised that payments made on or before June 30, 2017, would fall under the existing law, while those made on or after July 1, 2017, would be subject to GST, as per Section 174(1) of the CGST Act, 2017. Another participant questioned the applicability of Section 142(3) regarding invoicing and payment timing. (AI Summary)
