Salary remitted from Dubai based company. Can I claim HRA exemption?

HRA exemption may be available where salary is paid from abroad but the employee resides in India and pays rent.
Where an individual resides in India and pays rent but receives salary remitted from a Dubai based employer, the employer may include an HRA component and the employee may claim HRA exemption; absence of TDS on salary remitted from abroad does not, in itself, preclude the HRA deduction. (AI Summary)

Hi,

The company I work for is based in Dubai and it remits my salary from Dubai based bank account. They don't deduct any TDS and all part of my salary comes in hand. I reside in Bangalore in a rented apartment.

Can the company give me HRA component in my Salary?

Can I claim HRA exemption based on that?

Any help is deeply appreciated.

Regards
