can a central excise assessee issue manual invoice if computerized invoices could not be generated due to some technical reason? whether any permission is required from the department in this aspect. Please let me know.

your computer invoice stationary sr. numbers are pre printed ?

if yes in such case you can issue manually invoice and than after regularized in system. also intimate sr. number your range office with the reason why you are issue manually invoice if your invoice number generated thru system you can not able to issue manually invoice.
