Cessess amount utilization as per new Budget

Dear Sir,

Kindly clarify following doubt about Cessess.

One of the supplier give Excise invoice in Feb-15 with Ed.Cess and Sh.Ed.Cess amount, and it's entered in our books in March 15. Can we utilize theses cessess in March return or not?

Kindly guide me.

You could not utilized the Ed. Cess and Secondary Higher Education cess till further clarification has not been received by the CBEC. You can credit both cess in your Cenvat Register and reflected in ER-1 Return and whenver any clarification received then you will be utlised accordingly.
