Can an unregistered dealer of UP Purchase taxable goods from Delhi

Ramesh Prasad

Dear All,

My Query is,

Can an unregistered dealer of UP Purchase taxable goods from Delhi from registered dealer and pay Full CST on goods?

If he purchase goods from Delhi and paid full CST on that goods :

1.Can he took the goods through transport from Delhi to UP ?

2.An unregistered dealer requires ROAD PERMIT?

3.Will he has to pay any taxes in UP?

4.Will he has to register first under UP VAT and CST ?

IMPORTANT NOTES :

An Unregistered Dealer has just stared his business.

Annual Turnover Is Below ₹ 4 Lakh.

Thanks and Regards.

Unregistered Dealer Can Purchase Interstate with Full CST, Advised to Register for Lower Tax Rates on Purchases An unregistered dealer in Uttar Pradesh (UP) inquired whether they can purchase taxable goods from a registered dealer in Delhi and pay the full Central Sales Tax (CST). They asked if they could transport goods from Delhi to UP, whether a road permit is required, if taxes in UP would apply, and if registration under UP VAT and CST is necessary. A response advised that since the dealer's turnover is below the threshold, they can purchase interstate after paying the appropriate tax. It is recommended to register under both acts to benefit from lower tax rates on interstate purchases. (AI Summary)
