Valuation of machinery and plant requires a registered valuer to report detailed asset data, market comparison and a signed inspection declaration. Form O-7 requires a registered valuer to state purpose and valuation date, identify owner(s) and co-ownership shares, describe the machinery/plant and its use, and provide a valuation addressing make, manufacturer, original price, transfer price if not first owner, year of manufacture, present market price of similar new machinery and other relevant factors. It also requires a declaration that the information is true, the valuer has no interest in the asset, and that the valuer personally inspected the machinery, with signature, date and place.
