<h1>Company issues statutory notice under section 233(1)(a) proposing merger or transfer, invites objections within thirty days</h1> A company gives statutory notice under section 233(1)(a) proposing a scheme of merger, amalgamation, division or transfer with another company and invites objections or suggestions. A copy of the scheme is enclosed. Objections may be made by the regional Registrar, the Official Liquidator for the transferor's area, or any person whose interests may be affected. Objections or suggestions must be sent within thirty days from the notice date to the Central Government at the specified address and to the authorised representative of the transferor company. The notice includes space for date, place and authorised representative's signature.
