of <h1>ECS Refund Enhancement: New Instructions for Corporation and Income Tax Refunds Implementation by June 15, 2006.</h1> The Board has decided to enhance the Electronic Clearing Scheme (ECS) to issue refunds for both Corporation Tax and Income-tax. Instructions are provided for officials to implement this enhancement, including taking backups, executing a specific patch, and ensuring no ongoing database jobs during execution. Feedback on implementation is required by June 15, 2006. Although ECS facilities are available in only 12 cities, all Regional Computer Centers (RCCs) must implement these instructions. Prior OLTAS instructions must be implemented before this update.
