<h1>Deadline Set for Disposal of Seized Documents; Weekly Progress Reports Required Starting June 30, 1988.</h1> The circular addresses the disposal of seized documents and records in cases where they are not needed for establishing charges. Collectors are instructed to resolve pending cases involving the return of such documents by August 30, 1988. Starting June 30, 1988, weekly progress reports must be submitted to the Board detailing cases with unreturned documents, including reasons for any delays. After August 30, 1988, these reports will transition to a monthly format and be included with the Anti-evasion and monthly Administrative reports.
