of <h1>Income Tax Department Updates Procedure for Sharing Search and Seizure Findings with CEIB Within 15 Days</h1> The circular directs Investigation Directorates to share findings from search and seizure cases with Central Economic Intelligence Bureau (CEIB) within 15 days of finalizing Appraisal Reports, discontinuing the previous practice of sending PSR copies. Despite earlier instructions, compliance has been lacking. Directorates must submit findings in a specific format including search date, assessee details, findings summary, and relevant law enforcement agencies. Information shared with REICs must also be shared with CEIB. The circular emphasizes improving performance in sending dossiers to CEIB.
