Starting May 1, 2025, electronic processing of Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill will be implemented at specified airports. This initiative aims to reduce time and cost for exporters and importers by allowing personal carriage of commercial cargo, including samples and prototypes, through airports in major cities. Detailed guidelines and infrastructure support will be provided to facilitate this process, enhancing ease of doing business.
