The directive pertains to imports made between October 13, 2017, and January 9, 2019, which failed to comply with the pre-import condition outlined in the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20. To regularize these defaults, payments must be made as specified in Customs Circular No. 16/2023. Regional Authorities are urged to assist the trade and industry with compliance, and any issues should be reported to the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
