The GoM, comprising ministers from various states, is tasked with recommending amendments to the GST Laws to ensure they align with court judgments, maintain federal balance, and support uniform taxation. The GoM is expected to consult legal experts and submit its report to the GST Council by July 31, 2022. The Joint Secretary (Revenue) will assist the GoM in this endeavor.
