The CIM, requiring an ICEGATE registration, must include details for each transport unit and can cover multiple Shipping Bills. The system enables real-time cargo tracking and verification at ports, enhancing risk management and facilitating untampered eSealed cargo. Exporters are encouraged to use the provided utility for CIM filing and address any queries to the ICEGATE helpdesk.
