of <h1>Customs Shifts to Paperless System: Final Bill of Entry and Gate Passes Now Sent Electronically via Email.</h1> The notice informs importers and customs brokers about the transition to a paperless system for customs documentation. Effective immediately, the Out of Charge copy of the Final Bill of Entry and gate passes will be sent electronically via email as PDF files, eliminating the need for physical copies. Importers and brokers are advised to email these documents to Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) instead of submitting hard copies. MbPT officers will verify the electronic documents using the ICETRAK app. Any issues with this implementation should be reported via email to the designated helpdesk. The notice serves as a standing order for customs officers.
