IGST Payment Verification for Exports Extended to March 2019; CA Certificate Required by October 30, 2019.
The circular addresses the mechanism for verifying Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) payments on goods exported from India. It refers to a previous circular that provided an interim solution for payment mismatches between GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B forms, initially applicable from July 2017 to March 2018. Due to continued mismatches, the solution is now extended to cover exports from April 2018 to March 2019. Exporters must provide a Chartered Accountant certificate by October 30, 2019, confirming no discrepancies between refunded and paid IGST amounts. Trade associations are urged to disseminate this notice for implementation and guidance.
