of <h1>SEBI Requires Merchant Bankers to Submit Half-Yearly Reports Electronically, Certified by Compliance Officer, per Section 11(1) of SEBI Act.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) mandates that Merchant Bankers submit half-yearly reports on their activities electronically, starting with the period ending September 30, 2008. Previously submitted in hard copy, these reports must now be sent via email in both PDF and Excel formats to [email protected]. The email and file titles should include the Merchant Banker's name, the report's periodicity, and the relevant half-year period. Reports must also be certified by a compliance officer. This directive is issued under Section 11(1) of the SEBI Act, 1992.
