of <h1>Kolkata Air Cargo Updates ATA Carnet Procedure: New Centralized Register and Re-export Proof Required Within Six Months.</h1> The procedure for clearing goods under ATA Carnet at the Air Cargo Complex in Kolkata has been updated. Goods imported under ATA Carnet are exempt from duty as per Notification No. 157/1990-Cus. To ensure proper monitoring, a centralized register will be maintained by the AC/DC (Import Group) to record all imports under ATA Carnet, including details such as ATA Carnet number, description of goods, and import/export dates. Importers must submit proof of re-export within six months to avoid customs duty charges. Any issues should be reported to the Pr. Commissioner of Customs.
