Delhi VAT Objections Must Be Filed with Single Authority Based on Highest Pecuniary Limit per Year.
The Government of NCT of Delhi's Department of Trade & Taxes has issued an order modifying the allocation of objections related to VAT. Dealers must now file all objections for a particular year with a single Objection Hearing Authority (O.H.A.), specifically the one with the highest pecuniary limit for any objection of that year. This procedure is effective immediately, although objections already filed with various authorities will remain with their current O.H.A. The order is approved by the Commissioner of Trade & Taxes and communicated by the Additional Commissioner (HR).
