<h1>High Court orders DRI to be party in non-compliance case, directs filing of counter.</h1> The High Court of Madras ordered the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) to be impleaded as a party in a case where the petitioner alleged ... Supply of various documents to the petitioner - HELD THAT:- Unfortunately the DRI has not been arrayed as a respondent in this writ petition. The Customs Authorities arrayed as respondent state that the documents in their possession have been supplied to the petitioner and what remains is in the possession of the DRI - In the absence of the DRI, this Court is unable to ascertain the veracity or otherwise of the above submission. Thus, the DRI is impleaded as a party/respondent to this writ petition. Registry will cause necessary amendments to the cause-title. The counter should specifically deal with compliance of the directions in order dated 22.12.2014 passed in WP.No.899/2013, apart from addressing other averments in the writ petition - List on 07.11.2019. The High Court of Madras ordered the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) to be impleaded as a party in a case where the petitioner alleged non-compliance with a previous order. The DRI was directed to file a counter addressing the directions from the earlier order. The case was listed for further hearing on 07.11.2019.
