of <h1>Regulation 7: Postal Export Procedures Require Customs Approval for Goods Clearance and Secure Handling by Postal Authorities</h1> Regulation 7 of the Postal Export (Electronic Declaration and Processing) Regulations, 2022, outlines the procedures for the clearance of export goods at foreign post offices. Upon arrival, export goods must be handled as directed by Customs authorities. Packages cannot be opened without permission. Postal authorities are responsible for presenting goods and electronic declarations to Customs for inspection. Customs officers may verify entries, request additional documents electronically, and ensure compliance with relevant sections of the Act. Once satisfied that goods are not prohibited and duties are paid, clearance for export is granted. Postal authorities must provide proof of export and ensure secure transfer of goods if required.
