If the translation occurs outside India, it must be authenticated by the official with custody of the original or a notary public, with additional authentication by a diplomatic or consular officer if outside the Commonwealth. Translations made within India must be authenticated by a qualified legal professional or an affidavit from a person deemed knowledgeable by the Registrar.
