The Advisory has been issued in continuation of Board's Circular No. 09/2026- Customs dated 08.03.2026 and provides for a system-based facility in ICES for handling cases where export cargo is returned from international waters due to closure of the Strait of Hormuz. 3. In this regard, as per para 2 (b)(iv) of the Board's circular, a new option i.e., "Post EGM SB Cancellation" has been added in AC Role in ICES for cancelling the SBs wherein EGM has been filed. 4.
