....ipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, Rail Operators, Terminal Operators and other stakeholders is invited to CBIC Circular No. 09/2026-Customs dated 08.03.2026, issued under Section 143AA of the Customs Act, 1962, prescribing special procedures for handling export cargo returned or affected due to closure of the Strait of Hormuz and similar disruption in international shipping routes. 2. It is observed that trade is facing disruption on account of cancellation of vessel schedules, non-acceptance of cargo by shipping lines, return of containers from gateway ports, and uncertainty in export completion after grant of Let Export Order.
