....Regulator extended implementation of its February 4, 2025 algorithmic-trading protections for retail investors: brokers ready may go live October 1, 2025, while others must meet a glide-path-apply for registration of at least one retail API-based algo by October 31, 2025; complete product/strategy registration by November 30, 2025; and participate in a fully completed mock session by January 3, 2026 (failure to meet milestones triggers prohibition on onboarding new retail clients for API algos from January 5, 2026). Exchanges will monitor compliance, amend rules and procedures, and the framework becomes mandatory for all brokers April 1, 2026.....
