....The government has imposed port restrictions on the import of specific jute and textile products from Bangladesh to India, allowing imports only through the Nhava Sheva Seaport and prohibiting entry via any land ports on the India-Bangladesh border. The affected items include bleached and unbleached woven fabrics of jute or other textile bast fibers, twine, cordage, rope, cables, and sacks and bags of jute. This regulation is enacted under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, with immediate effect. All other terms of the prior related notification dated June 27, 2025, remain unchanged.....
