....The Central Government imposed countervailing duties on Continuous Cast Copper Wire Rods under heading 7408 originating from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam following DGTR's final findings that cessation would lead to continued subsidization and injury to domestic industry. The notification supersedes earlier CVD notification and establishes producer-specific duty rates ranging from nil to 10.27% of landed value for five years. Indonesian producers face duties of 4.98% to 7.94%, Malaysian producers nil to 10.27%, Thai producers nil to 3.46%, and Vietnamese producers 7.13%. The duties apply to copper wire rods in coil form exceeding and below 6mm diameter, with specific provisions for third-country exports through subject countries at residual rates.....
