....This notification seeks to extend the levy of countervailing duty on "Continuous Cast Copper Wire Rod" originating in or exported from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand. The designated authority initiated a review u/s 9(6) of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and Rule 24 of the Customs Tariff Rules, 1995, regarding the continuation of countervailing duty on the subject goods. Exercising powers u/ss 9(1) and 9(6) of the Customs Tariff Act and Rules 20 and 24, the Central Government amended the previous notification to extend the countervailing duty until July 7, 2025, unless revoked, superseded, or amended earlier.
