....9.06.2017 and Notification No. 17/2017-Central Excise (NT) dated 19.06.2017,the Central Board of Excise and Customs constitutes the following Committees of two Chief Commissioners, mentioned in column (2) of the Table below to be the Committee, for the areas falling within the jurisdiction of the Principal Commissioner of Central Excise and Service Tax or Commissioners of Central Excise and Service Tax, or as the case may be, in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table for the purpose of sub-section (1B) of section 35B of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) and sub-section (1A) of section 86 of the Finance Act, 1994 (32 of 1994).
