....sident hereby makes the following rules regulating the recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed as Chairman, Vice-Chairmen and Members of the Settlement Commission (Income-tax/Wealth-tax), namely :- 1. Short title and Commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Settlement Commission (Income-tax and Wealth-tax) (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairmen and Members) Rules, 2015. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette. 2. Definitions.-In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires- (a) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Commission; (b) "Vice-Chairman" means a Vice-Chairman of the Commission; (c) "Member" ....
