....anation shall be substituted, namely, - "Explanation : For the purposes of this notification, "fuel efficient motor vehicle" means - (i) in the case of petrol driven motor vehicle of engine capacity not exceeding 1000 cubic centimetres (excluding motor cars, three-wheeled motor vehicles and two-wheeled motor vehicles), a motor vehicle which runs not less than 19 kilometres per litre of petrol; and (ii) in the case of diesel driven commercial motor vehicle, a motor vehicle which satisfies the specific fuel consumption and kilometres net-tonne kilometres moved per litre of diesel as specified in columns (3), (4) and (5) of the Table-I hereto annexed - in respect of light commercial motor vehicles employing Indirect injection (IDI) engines,....
