of <h1>IGST on Goods Code 8525 Revised: Digital Cameras Excluded from 28% Rate as of January 1, 2019</h1> Goods under code 8525 were subject to IGST at 28% or CGST at 14% plus SGST/UTGST at 14%. This classification was amended by Notification No. 25/2018, effective from January 1, 2019, which omitted digital cameras and video camera recorders, excluding CCTV. Previously, as per Notification No. 43/2017 effective from November 15, 2017, the category included transmission apparatus for radio or television broadcasting, whether or not incorporating reception or sound recording/reproducing apparatus, as well as television cameras, digital cameras, and video camera recorders excluding CCTV.
