of <h1>Tax Schedule Update: 28% IGST or 14% CGST/SGST on Wood Carpentry Goods Removed Effective November 15, 2017.</h1> The a tax schedule that initially imposed a 28% Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) or a combination of 14% Central GST (CGST) and 14% State GST (SGST) or Union Territory GST (UTGST) on certain goods. Specifically, it referred to builders' joinery and carpentry of wood, including cellular wood panels, assembled flooring panels, shingles, and shakes. This provision was omitted by notification number 43/2017, effective from November 15, 2017.
