of <h1>Amendment Revises Tax Rates for Soybean Oil-Cake and Residues Under Schedule 1; IGST 5% or CGST/SGST 2.5% Each</h1> Goods listed under Schedule 1 are subject to an Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) of 5% or a Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) of 2.5% combined with a State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) or Union Territory Goods and Services Tax (UTGST) of 2.5%. Specifically, this applies to oil-cake and other solid residues from soybean oil extraction, whether ground or in pellet form. An amendment via notification no. 27/2017 on September 22, 2017, revised the previous description, which excluded certain animal feeds and related products from this tax rate.
