of <h1>Tax Rates Revised: Schedule 2 Adjusts IGST to 12% or CGST/SGST at 6% Each; Railway Vehicles Omitted Since 2021.</h1> The the tax rates applicable to certain goods under Schedule 2, specifying an Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) of 12% or a combination of Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) at 6% and State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) or Union Territory Goods and Services Tax (UTGST) at 6%. It notes that certain railway or tramway maintenance or service vehicles were previously included in this schedule but were omitted effective October 1, 2021, as per Notification No. 8/2021. These provisions were initially inserted by Notification No. 14/2019, effective from October 1, 2019.
